Supporting Young People Through Life’s Challenges
Life can feel overwhelming for some young people, especially when they are facing constant setbacks or emotional pressure. GRIT is in their corner to help them succeed. We offer tailored support to help young people build the confidence and resilience they need to move forward.
For young people aged 11–24, we provide 1:1 coaching and group programmes designed to develop emotional wellbeing, strengthen self-belief, and build practical life skills. Our approach helps young people regain a sense of control, purpose and direction.
Whether a young person is struggling with school, relationships or their mental health, GRIT is here to help them get back on their feet, with the right tools, and the right support.

With increasing challenges to student health and wellbeing and reduced external services, we welcome GRIT’s support in building resilience and personal skills. Their 1:1 and group offerings have a positive impact, and their professionalism, confidentiality, and partnership are invaluable to our school.

GRIT Services for Education AND Learning Providers
We partner with schools, colleges, universities, and alternative education providers to empower young people to navigate life’s challenges and achieve both personal and academic success. Our aim is to support long-term wellbeing and unlock each young person’s full potential.
Delivered consistently throughout the academic year, our in-school 1:1 coaching, group sessions and mentoring programme help young people aged 11–24 build resilience, confidence, and essential life skills. We also offer tailored support for those experiencing difficulties with school attendance or engagement.
Our Impact.
GRIT has come a long way since its inception in 2018.
Our most recent impact report shows that throughout the 2022/23 academic year, GRIT’s 1:1 coaching and group programmes led to measurable improvements in young people’s confidence and wellbeing across several critical areas. These included home life and relationships, school engagement and attendance, friendships, emotional regulation (such as managing anxiety, depression, or anger), as well as body image, relationships with food and substances, and self-harm.
Young people consistently reported increased resilience and a stronger sense of self, demonstrating the far-reaching impact of our support on their overall wellbeing and future outcomes.

Support GRIT.
It costs the charity £480 to support a young person through our services. As a charity, GRIT reinvests every donation to reach more young people and build stronger communities.
Schools and educational settings can play a vital role in supporting our work through fun and creative fundraising activities, from student dress-down days and sponsored silences to teacher skydives, bake sales, or charity sports events.
Every penny raised helps us deliver vital coaching and mentoring to those who need it most. If your school can help, we’d be incredibly grateful.
I have become more confident in myself and I have pride in the things I achieve and I don’t care what others’ think of me anymore. I’ve also seen a big improvement in my mood and these sessions have really helped me.
