Dr Louise Randall Founder

I am the Founder of Growing Resilience in Teens (GRIT). I have worked as a doctor in the NHS since 2004 and I am here to honour the mission of my fifteen-year-old self, to change the way the system works for young people struggling with their mental health.

The issue of self-destructive behaviour in young people, whether that be physical harm, school refusal, restrictive or excessive eating or another form is ever increasing and we need a different approach before the current system becomes completely overwhelmed and young people are lost within it. This is where GRIT comes in…

Rebecca Kelly CEO

I’m passionate about building a future where every young person has access to the support they need to thrive.

My role at GRIT is about helping the charity grow in the right way, making sure we’re sustainable, creating real impact in young people’s lives and continuing to reach those who need our support most. My focus is building strong relationships with partners and funders, working together to expand our services and drive lasting change where it’s needed most.

With a background in coaching, I bring a deep understanding of personal development, behaviour change, and resilience-building to both my leadership approach and the young people we serve. This helps me not only shape GRIT’s strategy but also support our amazing team in delivering high-quality, life-changing interventions for young people.
